VZS2250-5FZ Applications
The SMC VZS22505FZ is the 2 position double solenoid build and carries no CE suffix, so it latches in its last commanded position when power is removed rather than spring returning. It is used on manifold valve banks in general factory automation, assembly cells and material handling. It suits memory-function circuits, double-acting cylinder control and applications that must hold position through a power interruption. The metal seal main valve gives long life and fast response, and the plug-in entry keeps manifold wiring tidy. SMC discontinued this series in April 2023; the replacement is the SY3000 series.
