The SMC VQC42015 is a 2 position double valve supplied with a light/surge voltage suppressor fitted, which distinguishes it from the single-solenoid, unsuppressed VQC410151. It is used in high-flow pneumatic control on automotive, metal-forming and heavy packaging equipment. It is suited for memory-function actuator circuits that must hold position on power loss, double-acting cylinder driving, and manifold valve banks. The integral suppressor protects PLC output transistors from coil back-EMF without extra components.
