VP4250-045D Applications
The SMC VP4250045D is used to drive large bore cylinders that must hold their last commanded position if control power is lost. It is suited to heavy clamping, large gate and damper actuation, and press circuits where an unexpected spring return would be unsafe. The 2 position double solenoid construction latches the spool after a momentary pulse on either coil, reducing coil heating on long dwell cycles and letting the PLC drive the valve with short signals rather than a continuously energised output.
