The SMC VHS40F04AS is used where a large bore lock-out valve must dump residual air quickly without creating a loud exhaust report. It is suited to OSHA isolation points on noisy production floors, residual pressure exhaust on large cylinder circuits, and machine air shut-off where hearing protection limits apply.
