SMC VEX1701-12N3DZ is a VEX1 power valve, a large-capacity 3-port poppet-type regulator that sets outlet pressure in proportion to an applied pilot pressure. Because the exhaust (relief) port matches the connection port size, it exhausts quickly and holds outlet pressure stable even under large flow, which suits pressing, clamping, tension control and other force-regulating tasks. Balanced-poppet construction supplies air when demand rises and vents to atmosphere when outlet pressure exceeds the setpoint, giving responsive high-flow pressure control up to 1.0 MPa.
