The SMC V2115G is a replacement pilot valve assembly rather than a complete valve, fitted to VF1000/3000/5000 and VP300/500/700 series solenoid valves when the pilot stage fails or a coil voltage must be changed in the field. Keeping one on the shelf lets maintenance teams restore a manifold station without removing the valve body or breaking pipework, which matters on VV5F1, VV5F3 and VV5F5 manifolds where stations sit shoulder to shoulder. A built-in strainer protects the pilot orifice from line debris and the built-in full-wave rectifier supports AC coil variants.
