SY5100-5U1 Applications
The SMC SY51005U1 is the SY5000 body size version of the plug-in valve, one frame larger than the otherwise identical SY31005U1. It is used on SS5Y5 manifolds in assembly, packaging and material handling machinery that needs more flow than an SY3000 station can pass. It is suited to larger bore cylinders, faster actuator cycles, and mixed manifolds combining sizes. Moving up a body size raises flow capacity while keeping the same plug-in wiring, manual override and 24 VDC coil as the rest of the SY range, so machine standards carry over unchanged.
