SY3140-5LZ-01 Applications
The SMC SY31405LZ01 is base mounted onto a 1/8 sub-plate instead of being body ported, so the piping stays with the plate when the valve is removed. It is used in assembly, packaging and handling machines that need larger 1/8 porting than the M5 body ported SY3120 offers. It is suited to higher flow single actuator circuits, panels where valves are changed without breaking pipework, and machines standardised on Rc threads. Sub-plate mounting means a failed valve is swapped in minutes with the air lines left undisturbed.
