SY3100-5U1 Applications
The SMC SY31005U1 carries the standard push-turn locking manual override, which is what separates it from the slotted UD1 and slide locking UF1 versions of the same plug-in valve. It is used on SS5Y3 manifolds in assembly machines, packaging lines and material handling cells. It is suited to driving double acting cylinders, air grippers and rotary actuators from a manifold-mounted station. Because it is a plug-in base mounted valve, wiring runs through the manifold rather than to each valve, which keeps station changes quick and cuts the cable count inside the machine.
