The SMC SX7000161A is an F2 type mounting bracket for SX7000 body size 5 port solenoid valves, not a valve in its own right. It is used to fix a single SX series valve to a panel, frame or machine bed in assembly, packaging and process equipment. It is suited to retrofitting a loose valve into a cabinet, mounting a spare valve away from a manifold, and rebuilding machines where the original bracket has been lost. Using the factory bracket keeps hole spacing and valve orientation correct, so port access and manual override reach are preserved.
