RHCL32-825-C73Z Applications
Unlike the basic-mount cylinders in the RHC range, the SMC RHCL32825C73Z is built on an axial foot mounting with a long 825 mm stroke and a factory-fitted C73Z reed auto switch. It is used in shock absorption and high-energy stopping duty on conveyors, transfer lines and press feed equipment. It is suited to decelerating fast-moving light loads, stopping heavy loads at low to medium speed, and end-of-travel cushioning where a general-purpose cylinder would fail early. SMC rates the RHC range at 10 to 20 times the energy absorption of a general-purpose CG1 cylinder, which is why it survives repeated high-impact stops.
