RBC2015 Applications
The SMC RBC2015 is used to decelerate moving loads at the end of a stroke on pneumatic and mechanical automation. Fitted with a cap to spread the impact face, it is suited for stopping cylinder-driven slides and carriages, absorbing rotary actuator end shock, and protecting conveyor stops and index tables from hammering. The RB series adjusts automatically to the most appropriate absorption performance, so it needs no manual tuning across a range of speeds and masses, cutting noise, vibration and mechanical wear on the surrounding machine frame.
