MXQ16A-50Z Applications

The SMC MXQ16A50Z uses the A body option, which SMC calls the Both Sides Piping (double ported) type, distinguishing it from the otherwise identical MXQ16B50Z low thrust high rigidity variant at the same Ø16 mm bore and 50 mm stroke. Double porting lets air enter from either side of the body, which simplifies tube routing in crowded machines. It is used in electronics assembly, packaging and small-parts automation, and suits pick-and-place transfer, station-to-station indexing and stopper duty. The integrated linear guide absorbs offset loads directly at the table.
