MQRF2-M5 Applications
The F flange option is what sets the SMC MQRF2M5 apart from the standard MQR2M5: the same two air circuits, but supplied with a flange so the joint bolts straight to a plate or bracket. SMC describes the series as supplying air to rotary and pivot shafts of turntables and robot arms. It is used in indexing tables, robot tooling, and rotary machining fixtures, and is suited to mounting on a machine panel, anchoring the joint body against rotation, and driving a double-acting gripper.
