MQR1-M5 Applications
With a single air circuit and the standard non-flange option, the SMC MQR1M5 is the simplest member of the MQR range and suits applications needing just one air passage across a rotating joint. SMC describes the series as supplying air to rotary and pivot shafts of turntables and robot arms. It is used in indexing tables, robotic wrists, and rotary packaging machinery, and is suited to feeding a single gripper, driving one clamp on a turntable, and piping a pivoting arm. The metal seal construction gives low rotational torque so the joint adds little drag to the driven axis.
