MIW32-32D1AS Applications
The 32 mm bore, 32 mm stroke build with a stroke adjuster and scraper makes the SMC MIW3232D1AS suited to dusty, high-cycle escapement duty. SMC states the MIW Series is ideal for separating workpieces continuously moving on conveyors. It is used in packaging, food and beverage handling, and automotive assembly lines, and is suited to singulating cartons on a moving belt, indexing components into a pick station, and metering parts into a downstream machine. The double finger design holds the following workpiece while releasing the leading one, so flow is separated without stopping the conveyor. The built-in magnet allows auto switches to be added later.
