MHSL3-50D Applications
The SMC MHSL350D is the only 3-finger round-body chuck in this set, centring a workpiece on three jaws instead of gripping it between two, at a 50 mm bore. It is used in press-fit stations, CNC machine tending, and cylindrical-part assembly. It is suited for gripping cylindrical workpieces, press-fitting operations where external force is applied to the gripper, and removing parts with through-holes via the centre pusher. SMC notes it is vertically compact and lightweight due to the wedge shaped cam construction, holds repeatability of +/-0.01 mm, and the long stroke type gives strokes two times longer than the standard type.
