MGPWL50TF-50 Applications
The wide type doubles the guide pitch versus the basic MGP body, so the SMC MGPWL50TF50 resists plate rotation far better at the same weight. It is used in automated assembly, packaging and automotive production lines. It is suited to stopper and lifter duty on conveyors, pick-and-place transfers carrying offset loads, and clamping stations where a workpiece overhangs the plate. The wider guide-rod spread raises allowable rotational torque and non-rotating accuracy without adding mass, which makes it a direct upgrade wherever a standard-pitch guide cylinder is deflecting under eccentric load.
