MGPM80-50Z Applications
The SMC MGPM8050Z is chosen when the job needs the high thrust of an 80 mm bore but only 50 mm of travel. Typical duties are heavy clamping, riveting and short-travel pressing in automotive and metal-forming cells, where force matters and stroke does not. Being the shortest stroke in the 80 mm range, it gives the smallest installed envelope of the family. The Rc tapered ports suit installations already plumbed to Rc. The slide bearing guide takes the reaction load from off-centre clamping directly, so the cylinder can be mounted without an additional external guide.
