MGPM25TF-100Z Applications
At 100 mm of travel the SMC MGPM25TF100Z crosses from clamping duty into genuine transfer work. It is widely used as the Z-axis of a two-axis pick-and-place, lowering a vacuum cup or gripper onto product and lifting it clear of the nest. Packaging lines also use it to drive pushers and flight bars across a dead plate. The slide-bearing guide keeps the tooling plate parallel through the whole stroke, so gripper alignment holds even as the load is picked up off-centre.
