The SMC MGPL1675AZ is the air-cushioned version of the 75 mm stroke MGPL16 - the A in the code denotes the built-in air cushion, which is what separates it from the plain MGPL1675Z. Cushioning absorbs end-of-stroke impact on this longer travel, so it suits higher-speed transfer, lifting and pusher applications where a hard stop would cause shock, noise and premature wear. It uses its own MGP16-AZ-PS seal kit rather than the standard MGP16-Z-PS.
