MGJ6-5 Applications

The 5 mm stroke makes the SMC MGJ65 the shortest-travel model in the MGJ6 range, chosen for the tightest nests where even the 10 mm version is too long. It is used in electronics assembly, semiconductor handling, and precision small-parts machinery. Typical applications include miniature pick-and-place, wafer and component lifting, and micro-clamping in tightly packed equipment. Despite the very short travel, two auto switches can still be mounted, and at 29 mm wide and 14.5 mm high with integral wiring and piping to one direction it fits where standard guide cylinders cannot.
