MGJ10-5 Applications

The SMC MGJ105 is used in dense electronics assembly, semiconductor and medical device machinery where only a few millimetres of guided travel are available. It is suited for short-stroke clamping and part hold-down, for fine nozzle or probe advance, and for pressing and stamping small components at close pitch. Its 5 mm stroke is the shortest in the MGJ10 family, making it the most compact option where the MGJ10-10 or MGJ10-20 would not fit. Even at this stroke two auto switches can still be mounted for end-position sensing, and non-rotating accuracy of ±0.1° keeps small tooling correctly oriented.
