KQG2L08-01S Applications

The SMC KQG2L0801S takes the stainless steel 316 KQG2 male elbow up to Ø8 mm tube while retaining the compact R1/8 thread, giving more flow into the same port. It is used in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and washdown plant where higher air or steam volume is required. It suits larger actuators, blow-off nozzles and hot-fluid branches on hygienic machinery. The pre-applied thread seal removes the need for PTFE tape, while the 316 body and special FKM seals allow grease-free service to 150 °C.
