The SMC KQ2H1000A is a Ø10 tube straight union, so it joins two equal-diameter tubes end to end with no threaded port at all. It is used in compressed air reticulation, long conveyor runs, and machine retrofits. It is suited for extending an existing air line, repairing a damaged section of tubing without replacing the whole run, and creating a serviceable break point for maintenance. Its threadless one-touch body lets either side be released and reconnected in seconds without tools.
