The SMC KQ2H0802NS is the electroless nickel-plated version of the Ø8 / R1/4 male connector, so it resists corrosion and copper-ion contamination that bare brass would cause. It is used in semiconductor fabrication, food and beverage processing, and humid or washdown environments. It is suited for copper-free air circuits, plants where brass tarnishing is unacceptable, and machinery exposed to condensate.
