KJ12D Applications

Stepping up to an M12 x 1.25 thread for 40 mm bore cylinders, the SMC KJ12D is the larger sibling of the KJ10D and carries the higher rod loads of C95, C96 and CP96 actuators. It is used in heavier assembly automation, packaging machinery and material handling where a rod end must swivel under load. It is suited for oscillating link mechanisms, pivoting arms and clamps, and joints requiring automatic centering. The spherical bearing rotates smoothly in any direction within a 19 degree allowable inclination angle, and it doubles as an auxiliary bracket for oscillating mechanisms, reducing the design and assembly labour of custom linkages.
