The KF insert mechanism provides reliable retaining force on both sides of the tube: the tube grip retains the tube in position and the tube holder prevents the tube from being disconnected during piping, while the union nut requires no removal for tube installation. Body / union nut brass, sleeve resin or brass. Suitable for nylon, soft nylon and polyurethane tubing, operating from vacuum up to 1.0 MPa.

KFH12U-04S Applications

The KFH12U-04S is a male-connector insert fitting joining 12 mm O.D. pneumatic tubing to an R1/2 female port, with pre-applied thread sealant (S option) for a leak-tight seal. The KF insert mechanism grips and holds the tube on both sides so it cannot pull out under pressure, and the union nut need not be removed to fit the tube. It is used to connect air lines to valves, cylinders, manifolds and air-preparation equipment on automation and general pneumatic machinery running from vacuum to 1.0 MPa.
