SMC JAF3010125 Floating Joint — Flange-mounting floating joint, M10 x 1.25 thread, 125 mm rod length, for 32 mm bore cylinders. SMC JAF30-10-125 flange-mounting floating joint (JAF variant of the JA series). Connecting thread nominal size M10 x 1.25, applicable to cylinders with a 32 mm bore, overall connecting-rod length 125 mm, with an integral mounting flange for bolting the joint to the driven body. The floating joint absorbs off-centering and loss of parallel accuracy between the cylinder rod and the load, so centering is unnecessary and high machining accuracy is not required. Internal ball/socket construction compensates allowable eccentricity and gives a rotation angle of +/-5 degrees. Steel body with surface treatment; supplied with the required lock nut.

JAF30-10-125 Applications

The JAF30-10-125 is the flange-mounting version of the JA floating joint, letting a 32 mm bore cylinder rod (M10 x 1.25) drive a load through a bolted flange while absorbing off-centering and loss of parallel accuracy. The flange fixes the joint directly to the moving member, so centering is unnecessary and installation is fast.
