SMC JA4012125 Floating Joint — Standard-type rod-end floating joint, M12 x 1.25 thread, 125 mm rod length, for 40 mm bore cylinders. SMC JA40-12-125 standard-type floating joint (rod-end coupler) from the JA series. Connecting thread nominal size M12 x 1.25, applicable to cylinders with a 40 mm bore, overall connecting-rod length 125 mm. The floating joint absorbs off-centering and loss of parallel accuracy between the cylinder rod and the driven body, so centering is unnecessary and high machining accuracy is not required. The internal ball/socket construction compensates allowable eccentricity and permits a rotation angle of +/-5 degrees. Steel body with surface treatment; supplied with the required lock nut. Reduces lateral load on the rod and cuts installation time on double-acting pneumatic cylinders.
