IP8000-030-X14 Applications
The SMC IP8000030X14 is the ATEX-compliant (-X14) variant of the IP8000 lever type electro-pneumatic positioner, adding category 2 intrinsically safe certification, a 1/4 NPT air connection, an M20 x 1.5 conduit port and a blue cable gland over the standard IP8000. It converts a 4 to 20 mA DC control signal into a proportional pneumatic output to position linear control valve actuators. Typical applications are throttling control valves in oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and pharmaceutical plants where the positioner must be mounted inside a classified hazardous area.
