GKM20-40 Applications

The SMC GKM2040 is an ISO 8140 piston rod clevis used to couple the rod end of C96 and CP96 ISO 15552 profile cylinders to a pivoting load. It is suited for swinging-arm and lever mechanisms, clamping and tipping fixtures, and any linkage where the load must articulate rather than travel in a straight line. Pairing it with a matching head-end clevis mount lets the cylinder pivot at both ends, which absorbs misalignment and prevents the side loading that would otherwise wear the rod bushing and seals.
