EX600-SPN1 Applications

The EX600-SPN1 is the PROFINET SI (serial interface) unit that connects an SMC EX600 valve manifold and its I/O modules to a PROFINET IO network at 100 Mbps, mapping up to 512 inputs and 512 outputs and driving 32 solenoid valve outputs (PNP, negative common). Configured by GSDML file, one unit supports a manifold plus up to ten I/O modules, consolidating valve and sensor control onto a single Ethernet drop. IP67 sealing and short-circuit protection suit automotive, packaging and general factory automation on PROFINET.
