EX600-DXPB Applications

The EX600-DXPB adds eight PNP digital inputs to an SMC EX600 fieldbus manifold, connecting sensors and auto switches through four M12 5-pin sockets with two channels each. It gathers field signals and passes them over the serial link to the EX600 SI unit, cutting point-to-point wiring on valve manifolds and remote I/O stations. With IP67 sealing and short-circuit protection it suits factory automation, packaging and assembly machines where distributed sensor inputs must be consolidated onto DeviceNet, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP or other networks.
