EX500-IE1 Applications

The EX500-IE1 is a 2-point extension input block that mounts onto the EX500-IB1 input manifold in an SMC EX500 serial transmission system. It provides two PNP sensor inputs through M8 3-pin connectors with LED power indication and IP65 protection. Multiple blocks build up the manifold's input count. It is used to gather proximity, reed and other 3-wire sensor signals into the fieldbus network on machine-mounted pneumatic automation.
