EX500-IB1 Applications

The EX500-IB1 is the input manifold base of an SMC EX500 serial transmission system, collecting sensor and switch signals into the fieldbus network. It accepts up to eight input blocks for a maximum of 16 digital inputs, connects to the gateway via an M12 communication connector, and is IP67 rated for machine-mounted use. It is applied in distributed pneumatic and sensor I/O on packaging, automotive and material-handling equipment built around EX500 valve manifolds.
