EX260-SPR5 Applications

The EX260-SPR5 is an integrated PROFIBUS DP serial interface unit that mounts directly onto SMC valve manifolds such as the SY, SV, VQC and S0700 series, reducing manifold wiring to a single fieldbus drop. As an output-only slave it drives up to the manifold's solenoid count over PROFIBUS DP. It suits distributed pneumatic control in packaging, assembly and process machinery where PLC-based fieldbus I/O and space-saving wiring are required. External bus termination is needed on this variant.
