EX120-SCS1 Applications

The EX120-SCS1 is a serial transmission (reduced-wiring) SI unit that connects an SMC manifold solenoid valve block to an OMRON CompoBus/S network, cutting the multi-core wiring normally required to drive each valve. It handles up to 16 outputs with sink/NPN drive and mounts as a plug-in unit to compatible SV, VQ and SY manifolds. Used in machine and line automation to reduce control cabling, ease installation and simplify diagnostics on manifold valve assemblies driven from a PLC over the CompoBus/S serial bus.
