SMC EVND200DSF15AL Steam Valve — 2-port steam valve, G1/2, up to 180 C. VND series 2-port valve for steam, air-operated (external pilot) type. For steam control up to 180 C. Body material copper alloy or stainless steel (316L equivalent); PTFE seal. Port thread F = G, size 15A (1/2). Available normally open or normally closed; orifice range 7 to 50 mm and port size 1/8 to 2 Rc across the series.

EVND200-DS-F15A-L Applications

The VND air-operated steam valve controls steam and heated fluids up to 180 C in a 2-port on/off configuration. Its PTFE seal and copper-alloy or stainless-steel body withstand high-temperature service, making it suited to steam distribution, heat-exchanger, sterilization and heated-water process lines. External pilot air actuates the valve, so no coil is exposed to the hot media. The G1/2 (15A) port size fits mid-range steam branches; normally open or normally closed variants support both fail-safe strategies.
