EAV4000-F04-5YO-Q Applications
The SMC EAV4000F045YOQ is used in compressed air systems on production machinery, packaging lines, automotive assembly plants and general factory automation, mounted at the head of a modular F.R.L. air preparation set. It is suited for gradual pressurisation of cylinders and manifolds at machine start-up, rapid exhaust of residual air when the supply is shut off, and safe lock-out during maintenance. Supplying air slowly on start-up prevents the sudden lurching of actuators that causes tooling damage and injury. This variant ships without a pressure gauge and without a DIN connector, for installations that already provide them.
