D-M9BSAPC Applications
The SMC D-M9BSAPC is used for cylinder position sensing on machines wired with plug-in M8 connectors, such as modular assembly cells, packaging equipment and robotic end-of-arm tooling. It is suited for stroke-end confirmation, PLC input signalling, and any station built and commissioned as a pre-wired sub-assembly. The factory-fitted M8 3-pin connector removes on-site harnessing and cable cutting entirely, and because it is a 2-wire type it drops into the same series-loop wiring used by reed switches while keeping the IP67 rating of the standard D-M9B.
