SMC CY3B15960 Magnetically Coupled Rodless Cylinder — basic type, 15 mm bore with an extra-long 960 mm stroke. Basic type, 15 mm bore, 960 mm stroke, magnet holding force 137 N, M5 x 0.8 ports, 0.7 MPa max. operating pressure, piston speed 50 to 500 mm/s.
MPN: CY3B15-960 · SKU: CY3B15960
CY3B15-960 Applications
The SMC CY3B15-960 is used in packaging lines, gantry transfer units, printing and textile machinery, and semiconductor handling equipment where a long stroke must fit into a short installation envelope. It is suited for long-travel workpiece transfer, door and shutter actuation, and pusher or indexing duties along a conveyor. Because the piston and external slider are coupled magnetically rather than mechanically, no rod extends beyond the body, so the CY3B15-960 delivers 960 mm of travel in roughly the length of the stroke itself while remaining fully sealed against the ambient environment.
