CXSM6-30 Applications

The SMC CXSM630 is used in pick-and-place cells, small-parts assembly machines, and electronics and semiconductor handling equipment where compact non-rotating linear motion is required. It is suited for lifting and transferring light workpieces, stopper and pusher duties on conveyors, and mounting tooling directly on the guided plate. Its dual-rod construction with a slide bearing gives a non-rotating accuracy of +/-0.1 degrees and allows workpieces to be mounted on three surfaces, so the actuator can be installed from three directions without an additional external guide.
