CXSM15-40 Applications
The 15 mm bore with 40 mm stroke is the long-reach option in the 15 mm dual rod range, so the SMC CXSM1540 is specified when a pick and place head must clear taller parts, nests or guarding than the 25 and 30 mm stroke siblings allow. It is used in assembly cells, packaging machines and laboratory automation for vertical pick strokes, pusher and ejector duty, and tray loading. The twin rod slide bearing design keeps plus/minus 0.1 degrees non-rotating accuracy over the full 40 mm travel, and the stroke can be trimmed 0 to -5 mm with the adjustment bolt.
