CXSM15-100 Applications
The SMC CXSM15100 is a compact dual rod guided cylinder built for accurate pick-and-place duty. Its twin rods and slide bearing guide hold non-rotating accuracy to +/-0.1 degrees and deliver roughly twice the thrust of an equivalent single-rod cylinder, so it is widely used in electronics and semiconductor assembly, small-parts handling, packaging transfer heads, and light material handling on gantries. The built-in magnet makes it auto switch capable for end-of-stroke sensing, and because the guide is integral there is no need to design and align a separate external guide, which shortens build time and keeps the working envelope tight.
