CS1GN160-50 Applications
The SMC CS1GN16050 is a 160 mm bore CS1 air cylinder with a short 50 mm stroke and head flange mounting, giving high thrust over a compact travel. It is used in heavy industry such as presses, steel and foundry plant, and large material handling machinery. It is suited for clamping and pressing, gate and damper actuation, and pusher or ejector duty. Its large bore develops substantial force at moderate pressure, while the tie-rod construction and air cushioning at both ends absorb the shock of a heavy load at end of stroke.
