CQ2B25-10S Applications

The SMC CQ2B2510S retracts automatically under spring force when air is removed, the fail-safe-retract counterpart to the double acting CQ2B2510D at the same bore and stroke. It is used for spring-return clamps, part ejectors and hold-down fixtures that must pull clear on air loss or emergency stop. Only one air line and valve port are needed, lowering valve count and simplifying plumbing. Extend force is set by supply pressure while the spring provides a fixed, non-adjustable return force.
