CQ2B20-10S Applications
The SMC CQ2B2010S retracts automatically under spring force when air is removed, making it the fail-safe-retract counterpart to the double acting CQ2B2010D at the same bore and stroke. It is used for spring-return clamps, part ejectors and hold-down fixtures that must release on air loss or emergency stop. A single air line and valve port are sufficient, cutting valve cost and plumbing complexity. Extend force is set by supply pressure while the spring gives a fixed return force.
