CQ2B12-10T Applications

The SMC CQ2B1210T is used where the rod must extend automatically if air is lost, because the internal spring drives the rod outward and air is applied to retract it. It suits fail-safe part ejection, spring-extend hold-down clamps, and simple diverter flaps on packaging lines. Only one air line and one valve port are required, simplifying plumbing and lowering valve cost. Unlike the double acting CQ2B1210D, the extend force comes from the spring and is therefore fixed rather than pressure-adjustable.
