The non-rotating hexagonal rod holds angular orientation to within +/-1 deg, so tooling fitted to the rod end - vacuum pads, grippers, blades, stamps, probes and small fixtures - stays square without an external anti-rotation guide or guide rod assembly. That saves space and parts on pick-and-place heads, marking and cutting stations and test-probe actuators. The basic mount uses the body thread and mounting nut. It has no built-in magnet, so auto switch sensing is not available on this model.
